I read somewhere that you can feel like you're slogging away at progressing, learning, sacrificing, saying yes when you sometimes want to say no, feeling like it's always you being the giver, the organiser, the shoulder, the taxi (mum taxi) the bank (bank of mum and dad), ... sometimes feeling like you're the ball in a pinball machine, for YEARS, then suddenly .... it all falls into place, the hustle you put in back then, is now manifesting itself ... be it your physical self, your emotional and mental well being, your job, your finances or family .... you actually turn to look over your shoulder and can see how all those then seemingly random jigsaw pieces of unique and invaluable lessons from experience, have all come together and formed a stunning and successful, but more importantly, content and happy life.
Life is a journey and in order to reach that destination, we should and must experience an array of situations, successes, failures. We should experience life to appreciate the good when we have bad days, Like how much do you LOVE the warmth of your house when you've had to drag your heels back from your broken down car, 2 km away, in the pouring bitterly cold rain. To appreciate the sun, we literally have to experience the rain.
Your goal, whatever it may be, is to always push yourself that little bit more - it's an intrinsic human trait. We always want to see if there are ways to enhance the situation we are in, or change it ... and the point which I am trying to make is that it is normal to sometimes feel at the bottom of the mountain looking up, it's totally ok - the thing you must remember, is first off - you have actually acknowledged the current situation from where you want to progress. Acknowledgment is the first important step. So allow that realisation to be that beautiful starting point from where you sow your seeds ... before long, with consistency and a desire to get to your next milestone, you will reap the rewards from the hustle you make now.
